PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switch device for a vending machine improved at its operability so as not to generate confusion in purchasing a commodity by providing the switch device with plural pushbutton parts each of which is formed in a shape pointing in the direction of a commodity sample or a commodity nameplate. SOLUTION: Each of plural selection buttons formed on a long switch member 2 is provided with a triangular lens storing part 4 arranged on a case 3 formed with resin at a prescribed interval, a lens-like pushbutton part 5 formed like a triangular shape and stored in each lens storing part 4 and a vendable state display lamp 6 formed on the pushbotton part 5. The pushbutton part 5 is inscribed in a display board displaying sold-out. In attaching the switch device, the selection button is positioned so that its pushbutton part 5 is arranged under each commody sample and the tip of the triangle forming the pushbutton 5 is pointed upward to the arrangement of the commodity samples, and adhesively fixed with a double coated adhesive tape or the like. Consequently, correspondence between each selection button and a commodity sample can be defined.
