PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce inductance without shortening length of a lead wire, to realize shortening a rise time of a recording current during recording operation, and to enable suppressing transmission loss of a high frequency component of a reproduced signal during reproducing operation. SOLUTION: Cross-sectional area of lead wires 14a-14d is widened partially by utilizing effectively mounted area of a FPC 15 of a suspension 12 supporting a magnetic head 11 and forming a cross-sectional area of the lead wires 14a-14d with wide-width partially at a part other than a periphery part of the magnetic head 11. Thereby, the inductance can be reduced without shortening length of a lead wire.
