PURPOSE: A control circuit is provided to control an input buffer circuit for transferring correct data. CONSTITUTION: An input buffer(10) having a skew control function has a pattern detecting circuit(1), receiving circuits(2,3,4), a selecting circuit(5) and a latch circuit(6). The input buffer receives an input signal(I) through the receiving circuits and the receiving circuits output each signal(IN1,IN2,IN3). Then the signals become an L level signal or a H level signal according if the input signals exceed each standard potential. The pattern detecting circuit of the input buffer in which the input signal sequentially detects time in the H level or the L level, outputs selecting signals(SEL1 and SEL2). Therefore the phase adjustment conducted by the input buffer can be properly change according to the time that maintains voltage of the input signal without changing.
