PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost and compact surface modifying treatment device using a plasma capable of generating high-voltage and high frequency discharge voltage by using a DC power source with relatively low output voltage. SOLUTION: In this surface modifying treatment device T1, discharge voltage for generating corona discharge is generated by superimposing pulse voltage on steady DC voltage. Therefore, high voltage, high frequency discharge voltage capable of conducting a sufficient plasma treatment or a corona discharge treatment to a treating material 3 can be obtained without increasing so much pulse voltage or steady DC voltage. Output voltage of a first DC power source 5 or a first DC power source 17 can relatively be lowered, the insulation mechanism of a circuit is simplified, and production cost is reduced. |
