PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a person's head and the nape of the neck by continuously supplying cold air to a helmet from a cold air duct of an evaporator in a knapsack type housing, and to allow the cold air to stay in the helmet for a while, and raise a cooling effect by continuously arranging, at the lower edge of the helmet, a skirt for cutting off the cold air. SOLUTION: A knapsack type housing 12 is presented for a wearer to wear it through belts attached thereto, the housing 12 is divided into an interior chamber 14 and an exterior chamber 16. The interior chamber 14 is provided with an evaporator 20 having a radiation fin at the periphery thereof with a cylindrical buffer body 22 being incorporated therein. The exterior chamber 16 is provided with a capacitor 36, a fan 34 and a compressor. Cold air generated in the evaporator 20 is supplied to a helmet 60 through a cooling duct 24 so as to cool the wearer's head and the nape of the neck. At the lower peripheral edge of the helmet 60, there is provided a skirt 62 for cutting off the cold air for cooling the wearer's head and the nape of the neck, so that the cold air can stay in the helmet 60 for a while to effectively conduct cooling. |
