PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the failure of reading an address signal caused by track shifting. SOLUTION: In a sector address area 5, address blocks 16, 17, 18 and 19 including address numbers and ID numbers are alternately shifted between inner and outer peripheral sides by nearly half track pitches from a track center in a radial direction. Thus, address reading is improved from a land/groove recording/reproducing optical disk, and the stability of tracking in a sector address area is improved.
