PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of paper money storing device and to attain quick paper money processing and to mutually change different denominations money by simple structure and control by preparing plural storing chambers and allowing each storing chamber to store paper money in each denomination and carry out the stored paper money to the outside. SOLUTION: A paper money inserting slot 101 and a paper money delivery slot 401 are adjacently arranged on the upper part of the device. A paper money storing part 300 has structure loading respective stackers in the order of a 1,000-yen stacker 300a, a 5,000-yen stacker 300b and a 10,000-yen stacker 300c from the upper part. A carrier belt to be an inner carrier means wound around plural rollers are arranged on the upper part of each of the stackers 300a to 300c. Since paper money of an optional amount can be paid out by the minimum number of sheets of paper money required, it is unnecessary to previously store excess sheets of paper money, so that the size of the device can be reduced. Since the so-called reverse money at change of paper money of different denominations can be attained, the device can provide high service to users.
