摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the position control unit which can perform faster origin deciding operation and origin returning operation by using a smaller number of sensors. SOLUTION: A positioning device 100 controls a position on the rotary shaft of a mobile in a mechanism part 110 by controlling a motor 108. For the original deciding operation, a microprocessor 101 starts moving the mobile by using a 1st position counter 104 and the mobile is so controlled as to stop once an origin sensor 112 detects the mobile having passed the origin. When the mobile passes the origin, a 2nd position counter 105 begins to count up from 0 and when the moving body is stopped, the microprocessor 101 switches the counter for counting the position of the mobile from the 1st position counter to the 2nd position counter 105. The microprocessor 101 controls the position of the mobile by using the 2nd position counter 105 thereafter.
