PURPOSE: An image processing system and a camera system are provided to reduce the size of a circuit and to realize a system with a reduced cost. CONSTITUTION: An image processing system comprises: a coding instrument for dividing the output signal of a charge coupled device having a color filter for a brightness signal and an outline compensating signal for outputting the signals after compressing; a transferring route with limited band for transferring the brightness signal and the outline compensating signal being compressed by the coding instrument; and a decoding instrument for lengthening the brightness signal and the outline compensating signal being transferred through the transferring route for outputting the signals after summing up.
