PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable facsimile transmission or the like by using another document table even when timer transmission using any one of document tables is set with respect to an image forming device equipped with both document tables of an ADF mechanism and a flat bed system. SOLUTION: When a transmission key is depressed (S3: YES) in a state in which timer transmission using either a document table on a flat bed side or a document table on an ADF mechanism side is set (S1: YES), facsimile transmission is executed (S4 to S6) with the document table where the timer transmission is not set. Thus, even if the timer transmission is set with one of the document tables, it is possible to perform the facsimile transmission by using the other document table and, when a user performs the facsimile transmission by using the empty document table, he does not need the operation of selecting the document table to be used.
