PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thin inexpensive radiator having a sufficient heat radiating ability by constituting the radiator by machining the end faces of a metallic plate having a good heat conducting characteristic in comb-like shapes. SOLUTION: A radiator 7 is constituted by machining the end faces of a metallic plate composed of a good heat conductor in comb-like shapes. A high- frequency magnetic field is generated from an induction heating coil 6 when a high-frequency current is supplied to the coil 6 from a high-frequency inverter 4, and a rice cooking pan 3 is heated for an eddy current by electromagnetic induction. The heat generating parts 5 of the circuit parts constituting the inverter 4 accelerate heat radiation by means of the radiator. Therefore, a thin inexpensive radiator having a sufficient heat radiating ability can be obtained, because the surface area of the radiator 7 can be increased and the radiator 7 can be machined very easily.
