PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily designate the reproducing sequence by providing a first reproducing route information which defines all reproducing sequences of a plurality of digital data recorded on a storage medium and a second reproducing route information which defines at least one reproducing sequence of a plurality of digital data. SOLUTION: Function of each section included in a recording apparatus 100 may be realized by executing a program with a computer. An input means 101 receives an instruction from a user and a display means 102 displays information such as reproducing route information to a user. A control means 104 determines whether a music data is already stored on a storage medium 106 or not. When there is data to be recorded, it is stored in a storage medium 105. A host computer 108 corresponds to the apparatus in the information provider side which is connected to a large capacity storage medium in order to store many data.
