PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture at a low cost an uninterruptive power supply which can improve waveform and power factor and has voltage adjusting function. SOLUTION: A first converter 5 for improving a waveform and power factor, and a second converter 7 for adjusting a voltage are connected with the part between an AC power source 1 and a load 3. A capacitor 9 and a battery 10 which are used in common by the first converter 5 and a second converter 7 are provided. When the power source is normal, a compensating current for waveform improvement and phase improvement is made to flow by the first converter 5, and the capacitor 9 and the battery 10 are charged at a constant voltage. When service interruption is generated in the power source 1, a DC voltage of the capacitor 9 and the battery 10 is converted into an AC voltage by the first converter 5, and the AC voltage is supplied to the load 3. The second converter 7 converts the DC voltage into an AC voltage, and adjusts the load voltage. |
