METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR STORING AND RETRIEVING MULTIMEDIA OBJECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method which facilitates search and promotes the retrieval of a multimedia object by efficiently performing data storage and data retrieval while maintaining a tree hierarchy and preventing a page obstacle problem that is possible to encounter during traverse from occurring. SOLUTION: In the case of a node whose width is connected, it is started just after each node level of a tree structure is mapped to a graph node (S3a. 1). The graph node is taken out of a master stack and stored in a page memory (S3a. 3). When the current page memory can not be fit into the current graph node based on the size of the graph node because the page memory is full (S3a. 4), the current page memory is stored in a new memory page (S3a. 5). Recording is performed about a graph node in the master stack and the recording on a tree node level is finished at the point of time when all graph nodes in the master stack are completed (S3a. 7).
