<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device for an automobile capable of efficiently radiating the heat generated from a control circuit controlling device operations including transmission/reception operations of radar waves. SOLUTION: The rear side of a device case 4 storing a control circuit 3 is formed with a metal case section 16. The metal case section 16 has a double structure of a first metal member 17 and a second metal member 18 on its rear side, and a ventilation passage 20 feeding wind in the vertical direction is formed between the first metal member 17 and the second metal member 18. The control circuit 3 is fitted to the first metal member 17. The heat generated from the control circuit 3 during device drive is transferred to the first metal member 17 then to the second metal member 18, and it is radiated from both the first metal member 17 and the second metal member 18. Wind is fed to the rear side of a device during the device drive (during the travel of an automobile), wind is also fed upward from below in the ventilation passage 20, and heat is efficiently radiated from the plate members 17, 18.</p> |
