摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic display device capable of forming an aperture largely in comparison with a spot size, by applying a well-known principle 'focused ion flow' in an electrophotographic printing. SOLUTION: In an ion control device 100, an ion flow from an ion source 50 passes through an aperture 104 of a substrate 102. Preferably the substrate 102 is divided into separate substrates. A pumping electrode 106 for controlling the ion flow passing through the aperture 104 following an applied bias, and at least two displacement electrodes 108, 110 for finally controlling the displacement of the ion flow are installed around the aperture 104, and a pair of pinch electrodes are combined with a second substrate 102b. The bias applied to the whole electrodes is controlled by a controller. The ion flow passing through the aperture 104 selectively is faced toward the surface 28 on phosphor 70.
