PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simulate attenuation characteristics of a sound emitted from a sound source at a deeper position than a speaker and to enable the sound from the sound source to be reproduced by supplying a sound signal to a first speaker and supplying to a second speaker a signal obtd. by delaying the sound signal within a time range when an echo is not generated. SOLUTION: In a room 10, a first speaker 16 is disposed in a horizontal direction at a position facing the audience 12 on a front wall surface 14 of the audience 12 toward the audience 12, and a second speaker 18 is disposed in the horizontal direction toward of the audience 12 at an upper inclined part almost just above the first speaker 16. Then, a sound signal to be supplied to the second speaker 18 is delayed for a specified time to the extent that an echo does not occur with respect to the sound signal to be supplied to the first speaker 16. Thus, a hearse effect can be obtained and a sound image is localized in a direction of the first speaker 16. Also, a sound emitted from the second speaker 18 becomes large to the extent that a sound image localization effect does not occur to the sound emitted from the first speaker 16.
