PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spotlight source device using a compact shutter capable of speedy operation, by reducing a load on a shutter driving means. SOLUTION: A shutter 5 having a small rotation radius and a small rotation angle can be structured by making a rotation axis of rotating drive of a shutter plate 50 perpendicular to an optical axis of light emitted outward, and by connecting it to a shutter driving part 51 so as to make the rotating drive possible in both rotating directions of clockwise rotation and counterclockwise rotation. Thereby, a load on the shutter driving part 51 is reduced and the shutter 5 is miniaturized, in order to materialize a spotlight source device equipped with a shutter to stably and reliably switch on and off outgoing light emission for a long time.
