PURPOSE: A fuel injector is provided to deal with the sudden change of a load without remarkably changing the available area of a needle and to reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION: The fuel injector is formed by:a valve needle(10) able to slide in a bore(12) formed on a nozzle body(14); a fuel feed path(18) extended to the axial direction where is connected with at least one outlet(22) provided to the valve needle(10); the edge of the feed path(18) neighboring to at least one outlet(22), closed by a plug(20) which is arranged to be placed near at least one outlet(22) and has the inner area of which shape changes the flow characteristic of the fuel flowing at least one upper stream to the outlet(22).
