The water heater and/or water storage tank is fitted with a frame into which relevant documents and cards can be dropped. This replaces labels, instructions, manufacturer's markings etc. which are normally applied direct to the unit. The frame has a profiled structure and is secured to the unit by tags on the frame clipped into slots in the outer casing of the unit. The frame is curved to fit the outer shape of the unit and is open to the top to enable the documents to be dropped into place.
