PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medium processor capable of improving reliability and sharply improving operability by easily executing post tracing (error stack inspection) to be applied to each sorted and stacked medium and a processing result. SOLUTION: The medium processor is provided with a detector 4 for reading out the information of a medium, a reading processing part 11 for generating serial number/denomination information expressing the serial number and sort of the medium from a signal read out by the detector a storage part 12, a printing part 5 for printing out the serial number/denomination information generated by the reading processing part 11 on the medium, plural stackers 6a, 6b for sorting and recovering the medium in accordance with the denomination of the medium, and passage sensors 9a, 9b arranged in respective stackers 6a, 6b. The storage part 12 stores the detection frequency (counts value of counters 13a, 13b) of the passage of the medium detected by the sensors 9a, 9b corresponding to respective sensors 9a, 9b and the existence (passage information) of passage of the medium in each passage sensor. |
