PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a reception error by measuring a reception signal strength indicator(RSSI) and a phase maximum likelihood of an antenna, selecting either of both the measured results based on a default selection value and comparing the selected measurement result with a reference value for antenna changeover so as to select an antenna. SOLUTION: A control circuit 8 stores a newest median among three measured values that are measured by a reception circuit 4 and received via an A/D converter 7 to a current measurement value register 11 as a reception signal strength indicator(RSSI). Furthermore, the control circuit 8 stores a newest phase maximum likelihood obtained by integrating I (On the other hand, data) part 10 in 160-bit received from a demodulation circuit 5 to the current measurement value register 11. Furthermore, the control circuit 8 selects the RSSI or the phase maximum likelihood used for diversity control based on a selection value stored in an RSSI selection value memory 10. Then a reference value for selecting an antenna is set and the antenna is selected based on the reference value. Thus a reception error is avoided.
