PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film carrying unit capable of not only enhancing film processing efficiency but also reducing an occasion that a film is damaged or dust is stuck to the film. SOLUTION: This unit is equipped with a film insertion path in which a film 1 is inserted, a carrying path for carrying the inserted film 1, an aperture part 22a for reading the frame image of the film 1 and exposing and printing it, which is provided in the middle of the carrying part and a 1st film take-up mechanism 23 taking up the film 1 whose reading of the frame image is finished. In such a case, the unit is equipped with a 2nd film take-up mechanism 24 taking up the film 1 after the film 1 taken up to the mechanism 23 is reversely carried toward the film insertion path direction along the carrying path. Then, the film 1 taken up by the mechanism 24 is carried along the carrying path again so that the image frame of the film 1 is exposed and printed at the aperture part 22a.
