PURPOSE: A cover for an inner combustion engine is provided to minimize the resistance, noise and voltage drop used for driving a fuel spraying valve and to can be used as a component to examine the fuel leakage. CONSTITUTION: The cover is installed by the steps of:fixing a timing chain cover(1A) and another timing chain cover(1B) to the front end of the main body of an engine(9); providing to the timing chain cover(1B) an opening(20B) opened to the space between a left bank and a right bank; arranging an opening(20A) and the other opening(20B) to be overlapped with each other;:Herein, the covers(1A, 1B) are provided to surround a mechanical power transmission apparatus(8) including a crank sprocket(3), a cam sprocket(3) and a power transmission medium. And the interposed space between the left and right banks are communicated with the front space of the main engine body(9) passing through the two openings(20A, 20B).
