PURPOSE: A storing chamber for a lift mechanism or a storing structure is provided to occupy very small space, and to offer a sufficient space for a repair work at the same time. CONSTITUTION: The storing structure(10) for a lift mechanism produced by a metal or a material comprises a housing offered a permanent wall(14) of a building or more than one composing wall by a plate hinged in another wall of the housing(18). The housing(18) is located corresponding to a landing doorway of an access to the landing bordered by the permanent wall(14), and more than one side of it is opened corresponding to the access to the landing. The wall is formed by leaves(20, 20', 22), and forms the front face(18') of the housing(18). The whole size becomes very small because leaves(20, 20', 22) forming the front wall(18') of the housing(18) are folded each other or folded the housing itself at operating the lift.
