HAND-OFF SELECTION METHOD FOR CDMA RADIO DATA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adopt hard hand-off control for hand-off control with respect to communication whose continuity is attained by a function of a mobile agent even when the communication is interrupted on its way. SOLUTION: A mobile station 50 discriminates whether or not its own station possesses an agent for application used for communication and informs a radio base station controller 10 of the presence of an agent and a class of the agent for application used for communication on the occurrence of a call connection request. The radio base station controller 10 recognizes a class of an agent in a call connection request signal and confirms whether or not an agent server 20 has a corresponding application agent. The mobile station 50 discriminates whether or not the agent is available of communication to decide the hand-off method or the radio base station controller 10 discriminates whether or not the agent is available of communication to decide the hand-off method.
