PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer which is excellent in matching with load resistance by improving the efficiency of conversion between electric energy and mechanical energy. SOLUTION: A plurality of input part band-shaped inner electrodes 12 which extend to conform to the dimension in widthwise direction of a ceramic rectangular board 1 orthogonally to the lengthwise direction are stacked through a ceramic layer at the roughly half section of a ceramic rectangular board 11. These input part band-shaped inner electrodes are connected to the group of plural input part outer electrodes 13 so that they may be counter electrodes in lengthwise direction. A plurality of output part band-shaped inner electrodes 14 which extend to that they may conform to the dimension in width direction of a ceramic rectangular plate orthogonally to the length direction are stacked through the ceramic layer. These output part band-shaped inner electrodes are connected to the group of plural output part outer electrodes 15 so that they may be counter electrodes in length direction.
