PURPOSE: A composition for dyeing keratin fibers is provided, which can exhibit excellent resistance to many factors against hairs including light, bed weather and shampoo, and provide deeper and more non-selective coloring with hairs. Also, a process and an apparatus for dyeing using the composition are provided. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises in a suitable medium for dyeing, 0.001-10wt% of one or more cationic direct dye selected from the compounds of formula 1, 2, 3a, 3b and 4, based on a total weight of the composition, and additionally 0.01-10wt% of one or more thickening polymer selected from the following, based on a total weight of the composition:(1) a nonionic amphoteric polymer that comprises one or more hydrophilic unit and one or more an aliphatic chain-containing unit, (2) an anionic amphoteric polymer that comprises one or more hydrophilic unit and one or more an aliphatic chain-containing unit and (3) a cationic amphoteric polymer that comprises one or more hydrophilic unit and one or more an aliphatic chain-containing unit. |
