PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the turnover by earthquake or the like by forming a falling preventing protrusion on the outside of the lower end of a cask body, and providing, on the bottom surface of the cask body, a locking protrusion to be fitted to a locking recess formed on a floor slab. SOLUTION: When a concrete cask containing spent fuel is set in a floor slab 1, it is set on the slab 1 so that the locking protrusion 14 formed on the bottom surface of a cask body 12 is fitted to the locking recess 15 formed on the slab 1. a falling preventing protruding part 13 formed on the lower end circumference of the body 12 is held in the state making contact with the upper surface of the floor slab 1. Even if a load as moves the cask horizontally acts on the cask by an earthquake or the like, the horizontal movement of the concrete cask is arrested by the fitting of the locking protrusion 14 with the locking recess 15, and held in the fixed state. Further, since the falling preventing protrusion 13 is formed on the lower end circumference of the body 12 so as to protrude, the stability of the cask can be enhanced.
