WATERTIGHT AND INSULATING TANK WITH IMPROVED CORNER STRUCTURE AS TANK INSTALLED IN SUPPORTING STRUCTURE OF SHIP

PURPOSE: A tank is provided to easily fit a connecting ring with a simple structure into the corner of the tank by using a reduced cost. CONSTITUTION: A tank includes:a subsidiary insulating wall being fixed to a bearing structure of a ship; plural right angled parallel hexahedron members(4) being arranged on the side surface of the subsidiary insulating wall for the subsidiary insulating wall to cover the inner surface of the bearing structure; a first sheet(5) plywood forming the floor of the right angled parallel hexahedron member; a thick heat insulating layer(6) being attached to the inner surface of the sheet for covering the sheet; a glass fiber(8) being inserted to an interface between two sheets(6, 7) forming a cover; and the heat insulating layer is formed by a plastic foaming material such as a polyurethane foaming body. Therefore, the tank contains a simple structured connecting ring on a corner for easily fitting and reduces manufacturing cost.
