PURPOSE: An optical disk and optical disk apparatus using thereof is provided to detect off-tracking based on read signal from an optical disk. CONSTITUTION: The optical disk comprises a track and a groove. The groove is formed pitch of lambda/NA. A first array of pit moves as far as a predetermined distance to each the track to one of two directions which are substantially vertical to the track. The first array of pit is formed a predetermined pitch. The predetermined pitch has value of approximately 0 to lambda/NA. A second array of pit moves as far as a predetermined distance to each the track to another of two directions which are substantially vertical to the track.
