The required original motif is selected to be enlarged or reduced. The colors (C,M,Y,K) of the pattern are separated into their different shades, to give a number of different gray levels. The colors with similar gray levels are subtracted. A number of structural figures are formed with the gray levels to give a depth of color as a satin effect. The weaving program is constructed give the base color. The fabric is woven on a Jacquard loom. To weave a Jacquard fabric, with a colored pattern motif, the required original motif is selected to be enlarged or reduced according to the required dimensions in the fabric. The calculations for the pattern enlargement/reduction are performed by a computer or a digital camera. The colors (C,M,Y,K) of the pattern are separated into their different shades, to give a number of different gray levels. The colors with similar gray levels are subtracted. The weaving program is constructed, for each shuttle insertion movement together with the movements of the warps to give the base color. The woven Jacquard fabric is shaped into a colored motif. The base colors can be changed to enhance the gray levels and their range before weaving.
