PURPOSE: A buffer of crawler style vehicles is provided to reduce the generation of noise and the abrasion of a crawler belt rink and a sprocket by buffing the shock when the crawler belt rink butts with a saw tooth of the sprocket. CONSTITUTION: The buffer(10, 10a) of the crawler belt hanging and winding up unit(4) is installed in a rink shape to place more than one buffing element completed by covering the outer circumference of an elastic body with a metal in the position where contacts with the crawler belt rink around the hanging and winding up unit of the crawler belt hanging and winding up wheel. Accordingly, the noise and abrasion can be reduced by absorbing the shock force when butting since the elastic body is transformed and at the same time, the crawler belt rink butts into the sprocket.
