PURPOSE: A corona electrode arrangement for electrical treatment of plastic films which are guided in a partial angle area in a cylindrical electrode acting as a counter electrode is disclosed. CONSTITUTION: The inventive arrangement comprises a corona electrode (7) moving over the treatment area of the plastic film (3). The corona electrode (7) also includes a discharge section (11). The discharge section (11) is made of a porous sheet and has a plurality of holes (13) The inventive device is improved by using perforated sheet metal in the discharge section (11).
