PURPOSE: The removing method and a device of residual water from a container are provided to minimize the loss of residual water without separating a pipe to generate excessive pressure in a container. CONSTITUTION: The ion-containing water from an EDM equipment(6) is supplied through a pipe(7) to a container(8) containing ion exchanger resin after being filter-treated. The ion-containing water is redelivered through a pipe(5) to an EDM equipment(6) after de-ionizing in the container(8). The ion exchanger resin existing in the container(8) is saturated with ion, the residual water existing in the container(8) is removed from the container by generating the excessive pressure in the container by a pressure device(9).
