PURPOSE: A polarizing film is provided to achieve excellent polarization function in a range of a visible ray spectrum and be applied to a polarization plate for a car loading liquid crystal display of great temperature or humidity variation. CONSTITUTION: The film comprises a poly-vinyl alcohol inductor having a poly-vinylene structure obtained by using poly-vinyl alcohol of 2000 polymerizing degree and more as a material. A maximal absorption wavelength is 500 nanometer and more in a range of the visible ray absorption spectrum. A saponification degree of the poly-vinyl alcohol is 90 mol percent and more.
