PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of pitching vibration in an oscillator and to prevent the deterioration of silence and driving efficiency at driving of an ultrasonic motor. SOLUTION: A relative movement member 22 which executes relative movement with an oscillator 11 which generates the combined vibration of vertical vibration L1 vibrating in a relative movement direction and bent vibration B4 vibrating in the direction orthogonal to vertical vibration, a pressurizing supporting mechanism 31, constituted of a pressurizing supporting member 32 constituted of a pressurizing supporting body 35 having second restriction members 36a and 36b, which are engaged with first restriction members 34a and 34b engaged with the vibrator by having a gap at the node position n3 of vertical vibration L1 and are abutted on the oscillator at node positions n2 and n4 of bent vibration B4 on the end sides of the relative movement direction and of a pressurizing force generation member 33 for energizing the pressurizing supporting body 35 to the oscillator 11 and a casing 41 storing them are installed. The second restriction members 36a and 36b and the pressurizing supporting body 35 are constituted integrated by methacrylic resin. |
