PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve airtightness by laminating an outer peripheral frame for a panel which has a heat insulating property between an outer board and an inner board, and filling a foam material into the outer peripheral frame for panel to form a panel. SOLUTION: A sandwich panel used for a face board or the like of an air conditioner is formed by laminating an outer peripheral frame 3 for panel which has a heat insulating property between an outer board 1 and an inner board 2, and filling a foam material 14 into the outer peripheral frame 3 for panel. The peripheral frame 3 is arranged along the inner peripheral surface of a side portion 5 of the outer board 1 so as to furnish the interiors of the inner and outer boards 2, 1. Further, a small protrusion striation 10 of a frame member 8 is clamped by the outer peripheral edge of the inner board 2 which contacts the inner side of the protrusion and an outer edge 6 of the outer board 1 which contacts the outer side of the protrusion. In this condition, the panel is subjected to hot machining, while a foam material 14 having a heat insulating property being injected from a foam material injecting hole of the outer board 1 and foamed, followed by discharging air through small recessed grooves 9 or the like of the frame member 8. Thus completed panel is attached to a frame 12 of an air conditioner by means of screws, as 13, to cut off heat transfer from the inner board 2 to the outer board 1 thereby preventing occurrences of dew. |
