PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively shield reflection onto a surface of cathode ray tube in a display filter for a cathode ray tube having a frame body provided with an upper cover part and an side cover part. SOLUTION: This is a display filter for a cathode ray tube having an optical filter 2, and a frame fastening it and having an upper cover and a side cover, and the optical filter 2 is composed of, sequentially from the cathode ray tube, a quarter wavelength plate 6, a linear polarizing plate 7, a transparent substrate 8 and an anti-reflection layer 9. The anti-reflection layer 9 may be laminated on the substrate 8 as an anti-reflection film. |
