PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid in a detachable manner without providing irregularities to its surface and to lessen a plate in depth, in a kotatsu (a Japanese foot warmer with a quilt cover over it). SOLUTION: A housing case 3 is provided, where a base 30a of a plate 30 of the case 3 is so formed as to be fitted in a recess 2 provided to the surface of a prescribed device 1, the plate 30 is formed like a plate, and engaging parts 4 and 4 are provided at sites facing opposite to each other on the inner peripheral edge of the plate 30, and a sloping wall 5 is provided to the inner peripheral edge other than that where engaging parts 4 and 4 are provided. When the lid 6 is mounted, engaging parts 7 and 7 are engaged with the engaging parts 4 and 4 of the plate 30 of the housing case 3. When the engaged lid 6 becomes out of position, the lid 6 falls out making a slope 8 provided to the rear of the lid 6 to bear against the sloping wall 5 of the plate 30.
