PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convergence correction system that simply calculates a deviation of a CRT video image in each of R, G, B colors on a screen so as to correct the convergence without using an expensive CCD camera and an expensive PC. SOLUTION: In the correction method uses a remote commander 2 that enters data so that each adjustment point of a reference CRT video image matches each adjustment point of other CRT video image on a screen, an adjustment point movement processing section 10 that moves a corresponding adjustment point to the entry, an adjustment point deviation amount calculation section 11 that calculates a deviation of the adjustment point based on address changes before and after the movement, a convergence correction waveform arithmetic section 12 that calculates a convergence correction waveform based on the calculated deviation of each adjustment point, and a waveform generating section 20 that synthesizes the calculated convergence correction waveforms to produce a correction output waveform.
