PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that low noise and miniaturization are attained by reducing the umber of harnesses in a data transmission line between blocks. SOLUTION: Relating to an image forming device which forms a picture on the basis of CPU data controlled by a CPU and picture data, the device is equipped with a picture reading means 1 for converting read picture data into digital picture data, a picture processing means 2 for applying desired processing to the picture data, and an image forming means 3 for forming an image on the basis of the picture data. Then, one or plural transmission lines among the picture reading means 1, the picture processing means 2 and the image forming means 3 are constituted so that both the picture data and the CPU data are transferred through a shared transmission line.
