ERROR RATE MEASUREMENT METHOD AND SYSTEM AT SATELLITE COMMUNICATION EARTH STATION IN SIMULTANEOUS INSTRUCTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and system by which whether or not a reception system has a problem is easily detected with a simple device on the occurrence of abnormality in each earth station in the simultaneous instruction system adopting satellite communication. SOLUTION: An error rate measurement signal generator 210 of a simultaneous instruction station 200 generates an error rate measurement signal by using a time when voice simultaneousness and simultaneous FAX are not transmitted and transmits this signal to each earth station. Satellite communication devices 1001-100n of the earth stations receive the signal and measure the error rate of the received error rate measurement signal by using respective error rate measurement devices 220. Each earth station can also transmit this error rate to the simultaneous instruction station 200.
