PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw elevating type terminal device, that is hardly affected by the formation errors of elastic pieces, can smoothly and vertically move sliding fittings at all times, and can surely retain the sliding fittings at their lifted positions. SOLUTION: In a screw elevating type terminal device, where sliding fittings 8 are vertically movably mounted to a terminal board 5, elastic pieces 11 made of plastics for pressing the sliding fittings 8 at their lifted position are formed by bending them into a U-shaped form laterally from a side wall 2 of a case 1. It is preferable that each of the contact surfaces of the sliding fittings 8 with the plastic elastic pieces 11 be formed into a plane, and engaging parts 13 with the case side for retaining the sliding fittings 8 at their lifted positions are formed on the upper back surfaces or the lower back surfaces of the sliding fittings 8.
