PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow concerned parties for data communication to take more intimate communication regardless of a simple operation. SOLUTION: The image communication device is provided with an antenna 11 that receives image data including 1st characters via a communication path, a transmission/reception section 12, a communication control section 13, a RAM 19 storing pluralities of image data including 2nd characters, a key entry section 20 that designates the operation of the 2nd characters, and a control section 14 that reads the image data including the 2nd characters corresponding to the designated operation from the RAM 19 and that generates image data including the read 2nd characters and that transmits the data via the communication control section 13, the transmission reception section 12 and the antenna 11 and that synthesizes and expands the received image data with the transmitted image data including the 2nd characters and allows a display section 21 to display the resulting data.
