PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a material having sufficient effects on an electrical properties an durability, even in an unleaded alloy by preparing an Sn-Zn-Cu-Sb alloy which contains each of the metallic atoms with a specific weight %. SOLUTION: The end face electrode material of a metallized plastic film capacitor is a linear metallikon material for forming an end electrode of a metallized plastic film capacitor, in which a dielectric film having Al deposited thereon is wound and stacked. The metallikon material is an alloy containing 94 weight % Sn, 3 weight % Zn, 2 weight % Cu, and 1 weight % Sb. Furthermore, with respect to a dielectric film made of polyethylene terephthalate, an alloy is effective which contains 92 to 96 weight % Sn, 1 to 5 weight % of Zn, 1 to 3 weight % of Cu, and 0.5 to 2.0 weight % of Sb. Moreover, the alloy is molded in a billet with a predetermined size and is extruded by a pressing device so as to have a linear diameter of about 5.0 mm while the length is adjusted, and a linear metallikon material for spraying is formed.
