PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To emphasize non-stochastic feature to stochastic effect by processing a first image data containing a first non-stochastic characteristic and a stochastic feature signal in a pixel domain according to unit gain reaction curve. SOLUTION: An image data obtained from an image system such as synthetic aperture radar, which contains a first cultural object superposed to deterioration or a signal corresponding to a first superposed object, is processed to detect or partition the cultural object. The first image data is processed from a pixel domain to a spatial quefrency domain, and a first cepstral coefficient corresponding to the deteriorated signal is processed 10 to attenuate a part of the deteriorated signal. The cultural object signal or the first cepstral coefficient corresponding to the superposed object natural characteristic is processed, whereby a part of the cultural object signal or superposed object natural characteristic within the pixel domain is obtained and displayed 40. |
