PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability without weakening fixing force by forming the press-in bulges of adjacent contacts at locations in a double-level structure, inserting multiple adjacent contacts into all press-in sections formed on an insulator, then pressing-in them in the lump. SOLUTION: Press-in sections of an insulator are provided on the bottom face of a connector, and contact 3 are pressed into the press-in sections. Bulges 9 of the adjacent contacts 3 are formed at positions so that double-level structure of heights (a), (b) results, the adjacent contacts 3 are made different in shape, and the contacts 3 are manufactured as a set of A and B. The press-in the bulges 9 of the adjacent contacts 3 are located at positions in a double-level structure, and the pressure applied at once to insulator walls between the press-in sections is suppressed. Even when the adjacent contacts 3 are pressed-in in the lump, only the pressure from the press-in the bulges 9 on one side is applied to the insulator walls between the press-in sections, thus the pressure applied at once is reduced, and cracks can be prevented. |
