PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burying system for radioactive wastes capable of conveying and stationing wastes in a buried facility safely, reliably and densely in the environment applied with sufficient radiation shielding and having a reasonable and economically considered structure. SOLUTION: This burying system is provided with a shielding container 30 storing radioactive wastes, a conveying carriage 50 mounted with the shielding container 30 on it and traveled on a buried facility 60, and a container shifting crane 40 shifting the shielding container 30 on the conveying carriage 50. The shielding container 30 storing the radioactive wastes in it is mounted on the conveying carriage 50 by the shifting crane 40, the conveying carriage 50 is conveyed onto the buried facility 60, and the radioactive wastes in the shielding container 30 are stationed in the buried facility 60 through the conveying carriage 50.
