METHOD AND APPARATUS TO PREVENT NOX INSIDE RAREFIED GASEOUS STREAM

PURPOSE: A method to process a rarefied NOx-containing gaseous stream to be able to exist and to fluctuate for certain hours inside the temperature range not to be inappropriate to the catalyst suppression of the NOx is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method contains steps of: absorbing the NOx inside a trap matter by passing the NOx containing thin gaseous stream to the catalyzed NOx trap matter formed by the regular mixture of a catalyst material to be effective in catalyzing the oxidation of a combustible element in a copper gaseous stream and a NOx absorbing material inside the absorbing temperature range; eliminating the NOx exhausted gaseous stream from the trap matter by securing the trapping time; passing the gaseous stream eliminated from the trap matter in the thin NOx resolution catalyst matter; maintaining the thin NOx resolution condition inside the catalyst matter during the removing time.
